I've just had my PC rebuilt and in doing so, I lost my media player - Sony Sonicstage. Rather than reloading the version that came with the Walkman (v2, I think which only holds 2gb of tracks for a 20gb walkman!??) I thought I'd download the latest version direct from the Sony site.

However, when trying to follow the instructions, I kept getting stuck. The option to check compatibility didn't seem to work and there was no download button.. nothing. Am I doing something wrong. Do I need to have a version already loaded so there's some kind of 'recognition' or was I simply having bad luck with the site on the day? Has anyone else experience problems downloading this?

Any help would be really appreciated. I've loads of new tracks I want to put on my Walkman.

Thanks tonnes.

I downloaded the updated version whilst still having the old one installed and it worked first time.
