Bleach streaks on loo seat & toilet lid

Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can restore the colour on an acryllic type toilet seat and cover which has accumulated white streaks over the years due to bleach spashes & other loo cleaners? Thanks.

Probably not the answer you're looking for but i bought a new toilet seat. If you don't want to shell out for an expensive one you can get them for about �10 in supermarkets.
