I have had to change my Email address and naively thought that I could sign in with my old username and password. Now I get "Oops something happened to that account" and have lost my Profile and avatar. What can I do to get my original data back or at least get a new profile and be accepted? Thanks

nah, as long as nobody else has your address, you're not impersonating anyone or defrauding anyone, you're just being your old self. You could contact the Ed on the Contact Us tab at the bottom of the page to see if he could transfer your old ID to your new address, .

Why can't you use the profile you have used to post this question?
We can see this, so are you saying you had a second account?

The only reason I have been able to post this is using my old address which I don't have any more. Is this fraudulent?

Why not just edit your profile and change the email address in it.

No-one is suggesting that- I was just trying to work out what the issue was.

Did you change the status to User-inactive?

If you tell us the later user name I'll have a look
Hi Tuvok- I read it that she can't log into her other profile.

You can email me here:

To be honest, you should be able to change this email address to your new one (and press save at the bottom) here: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/user/edit_profile.php

Or have I misunderstood?
