Hello
I have 2 email addresses the 1st ends @hotmail.com and the second ends @gmail.com. I would like to be able to have a central location in which I can receive, send and view the emails from both email accounts at the same time. Am I right to understand that what I need is an email client program?

If so what free client can I use that will do the job?

Thank you in anticipation

PS if you can answer both questions that would be helpful

Yes, and Windows Live Mail.
You can do it in Gmail.

Open Gmail, click the cog icon and then settings.
Click the accounts tab, scroll down and click 'check email from other accounts'.
Then follow the instructions.

Both your GMail and hotmail emails will now show in your GMail. You can send, read and reply from there
I use Thunderbird - I collect and send from 3 of my e-mail addresses as well as my husbands.
The big advantage with GMail is that your mail can be accessed from any device, anywhere in the world, provided it is connected to the internet.
Interesting information from hc4361. I as well have two email addresses but my gmail is always open in one tab so it's the second, @yahoo which I actually have to think about checking.
Not that this is ideal in comparison to these other fine suggestions but if you have an iphone/ipad their default mail app also allows multiple accounts.

I am intrigued that one can still have an @hotmail address as the provider no longer exists. It was taken over by MSN some years ago and now recently it's Outlook.
