DD is laid low with morning sickness (first sproglet). Any suggestions for easing the symptoms? I'm hopeless as in same fix all I did was throw up and lie down.

My daughter found nibbling on crystallised ginger helped her a lot - might be worth a try.
My sister used to keep a pack of ginger biscuits next to bed so she could nibble one when she woke up before she sat up fully; she also said that apples helped with nausea during the day - something to do with sugar maybe but I can't remember, t'was a wee while ago.

Apples - check; ginger - check; thank you both
Oh - and if I have a tummy upset, peppermint tea has helped in the past - I have absolutely no idea if morning sickness can be treated the same as an 'upset tummy' though!;o)
As above, ginger biscuits were the only thing that helped me, oh, and ginger tea.
Horrible stuff, and I don't know why they call it 'morning' sickness, when it lasts the whole flipping day :-/
Try nibbling on some peeled apple, very good for nausea.
Barley sugar sweeties worked for me - mind you it was over thirty years ago!
Seconding the ginger biscuits..... I used to just nibble, small bites, but often. Hunger will make it worse, so whatever it is.... Little and often.

And congratulations!
