I'm not sure how what occurs in a Somalian jail is our fault but hey ho, nothing surprises me any more. I think most agree that HR are a good thing but we seem to have implemented a bad guys charter instead!

1. we delivered him to the torturers knowing what would happen
2. we provided the torturers with questions we wanted answering knowing how those questions would be asked
3. we had agents 'observing' the interrogation and sharing the outputs

This is of course related to the issue of 'Rendition'
the one thing is that the security services due to the nature of the work they do wherever they are situated cannot remotely defend themselves against accusations of this kind, millions of pounds of our money has already been paid out to terror suspects who know that is the case, or their lawyers do. So in this case is it his word against who exactly? and perhaps the powers that be pay out rather than involve those security forces, and the length of time it will take to prove their case.
