I haven't watched this for a few years and didn't intend to watch it tonight but switched over half way through.

Eamonn Holmes! What a shock. In the ten minutes I watched I thought he was fab - and I'm no fan of his.

Would he make a good permanent host?

True, although I wasn't keen on the Anthea jibe. That's been done to death and is old news.

I haven't watched NMTB since Simon Amstell left. Just the thought of him in that elevating seat sets me off :D

It's the script writers that make them good, Hasslehoff was on there a few years ago and he pulled it off

It takes a character and confidence to make a script work, though. Some people can carry it off, many can't.

I also tuned in while channel-surfing, and quite enjoyed it.

I don't really like Noel Fielding - he looks too much like a transexual, and he makes me feel uncomfortable.
