If you get bored why not try spotting the plane flying over you http://planefinder.net/
I've just seen a plane flying from Pakistan to Manchester. I was actually looking for the Space Station, but missed it, so decided I'd try to find out something about the plane that flew over.
The site is very interesting. I followed my daughters flight home from holiday.

I use this site, Yorky

I'm a little east of Durham Tees Valley (Snigger) Airport - the laugh is no-one knows where the Tees Valley is. It's nowhere near Teesside Airport (To give its proper name.

I use the same site as Stephen, I love looking at it.

Thanks for the new site, I'll give that a go too.
I live right under the heathrow flight path ..... Flight radar app is great. I sit in the garden and know every plane that is coming over and where from!
I don't know whether or not to say lucky you, knowabit. Would like to physically see the A380. My Nephews are lucky because they live a few miles away from RNAS Yeovilton, and they go to the Air Day. They've taken some great photos.

It's annoying, but there is a lot of traffic that doesn't show up on Flight Radar. A couple of things have flown over the house tonight and I can't identify them. I do like the fact you can see pics of the planes on both sites.
That is true Stephen. I live under a flightpath area near Dorchester but I know there's a lot of Flybe traffic in and out of Southampton and that never seems to show up.
Are you surprised, Prudie. Given their rates and profits, they probably don't have radar!
Don't say that. I fly with them quite often, I'm scared enough as it is!
Scroll halfway down the page, Prudie. Planes have to have a certain type of Transponder, to show up on the maps
