Jesus I've just had a right doing over by a mob of angry thugs. Like a pillock I dropped my ipod touch (whilst on my bike) and went back out to look for it. Ended up getting into a barny with about 15 people. I'm going to have some serious bruises in the morning. I can't believe what just happened. I was trying to ring baby_cham and the next minute I'm getting pushed into the bushes by about 4 lads.

I hate violence but I tell you what the adrenaline is still pumping. I didn't want to come back on here for a while because I get upset by some things that people say but I thought I had to. I hope baby_cham is ok. I really enjoyed talking to her and then she just went.

I've just took on 15 lads and lasses. Don't worry I didn't hurt any of the lasses.

I'm glad I bought that bottle of vodka earlier. Yes I know I shouldn't be drinking but I've been on edge lately as you know. I'm not going to make excuses for drinking but I will say that it will help the pain I'm going to be suffering later.

I've email my mate who is a PC in the area, I'm going to see him tomorrow and give him some details.

Sorry if I don't reply I might need to lie down. Love you all.

no no tonyav. They are going to be pickle and polished. The pickling removes the discolouration of the welds (all the heat marks and oxidisation). The polishing will bring them up shiny so when the sun comes out the reflections will be absolutely 'awsome'. That is if skz wants that. The pickling is a must. It isn't possible to clean the welds without contamination otherwise.
Right I see, Diz.

A pint of bamboo shoots please matey...
Lovely work Diz - speak soon.
Question Author
Just to get that bamboo piece to the laser cutters and have *X amount cut it cost us about £1400.
Really clever. You must have so much patience!
Question Author
My step dad did his usually idiotic thing and decided to 'test the welds'. The thing is it is thin material and getting your big stubby hands and trying to snap the leaves off really isn't a good idea. I could understand his thought process if the steel was 10mm x 10mm but it isn't. It is 2mm x 2mm welds - fine against the weather but not a heavy handed ouff.
Question Author
It has been harder than normal pixie because someone has stolen my 0.5mm s/s filler wire. So I'm having to use my 2mm filler which is harder to work with as you have to kind of dab the weld area quicker and use less power and take longer. God knows why anyone would take my s/s filler wire.

To be honest I kind of like the challenge, even if I have been a complete selfish fruit bag over the last couple of days.

I'm going to make a sub thread now.
