my sinus has been infected for ages it first started last august and it first started as just a pain on the right side of my head and it kept on getting worse, there was sinus pressure they were inflammed, i went to the doctors they gave me some anit-biotics but that didnt really help and they gave me some stronger paracetamol which seemed to dull the pain.

i waited a while before going to doctors again to see if it got better, ive had the usual gunk at back of throat but thats bout it i haven't been coughing or had sore throat. when i went to doctors again she gave me some more anit biotics which seemed to help alot more than the 1's before, a couple of days before the end of anti-iotics i suddenly got a really sore chest which went by the next day which was really weird i assume due to anti-biotics. the doctor also gave me some spray that i have to spray up each nostril once a day.

the headache and feeling inflammation seemed to come back a tiny bit after finishing anti-biotics but then died down and then all of a sudden after bout a week they came back again but not that bad and ever since some days have been good and some havent. ive found that if i drink alot more than i normally do this seems to help a bit, but this is getting rediculous i mean its near christmas, its been 6 months and ive got a holiday soon and i don't fancy havin a massive headache all the way on the plane

also that stupid spray doesn't seem to be working and im just sick of tired wondering if im guna have the pain today or not and is it goin to get worse. ( also i might add that when i go to bed and i lay on either of my sides i feel a lil bit of relief of pressure from my sinus ( if laying on right side then left side of my sinus is lil bit reliefed and same for if i was on my left side but obv my right side of my sinus.

i don't know what to do the doctor said if it gets worse then i should make an appointment with the ENT specilist.

He/she should refer you to an ENT specialist. This has gone on far too long.

My daughter suffers badly with sinus trouble and she uses something called "Sinutab", they work brilliantly and are available over the counter at your pharmacist.
If its not solved by the time you have to fly get yourself some saline solution nasal spray otherwise you may be in some pain on the flight.
