Hey All,

Just looking for some inspiration for something interesting to do in London. A friend of mine is having a kind of a batchelor party thing (but not!) so we're looking to do something a bit different.

One thing we had thought of is that there is apparently a place in Canary Warf where you can hire out a booth with a big screen and watch DVDs of your choice or play games but we don't know what that's called to see if it still exists, any ideas?

Another idea we had was doing the Jack the Ripper walk/tour.

Any blasts of inspiration out there?

Cheers
China

I don't think there'd be enough of us to do a venue hire really alas... It's not going to be a massive event

A friend of mine who went on a stag do where they had to have a drink on every place on the monoply board. Mind you I think it took them all day and they were pretty far gone at the end but really enjoyed it.
Darling, you are probably thinking of The Garrison in Bermondsey, which has a private cinema to watch anything you like for up to 20 peeps.

I have done the Ripper tour, and would give it say 8 / 10. Its ok.

What sort of shindig is this anyway? What about Porchester Spa - maybe a bit pricey - but what are we talking - 30 screaming women with tiaras and pink fairy wings? Or are you a mixed bunch of odds and sods?
How about a Thames River cruise!

Quite a few options from different companies and you can take in the sights whilst you party.

Just one of the companies:

But be warned - that is how Lister ended up on Red Dwarf....
