The e-mail is giving my vodaphone account details, but I don't have an account with vodaphone, and I'm a bit wary of opening it. Has anyone else had this one, is it a scam?

You're lucky if you don't get lots of things for accounts you don't have.
Not had an e-mail like it.
Yes, it's a scam.
What factor said!

I've had quite a lot from banks and building societies that I don't have account with, and I usually delete them. Spelling errors etc usually show up, but this one seemed more likely. I was tempted to open it to see what it says.
Even if you do have an account with a company it's worth treating all emails with caution. I have a paypal account, for example, but get lots of emails asking me to click on things but I know they are scams because they don't mention my name or spell paypal as payal. I have had a few supposedly from Lloyds/TSB this week where they spell Lloyds as Llodys
I have never had a problem from just opening an email- the problem occurs if you reply or click on any links/attachments

Thanks factor, I was wary of opening it in case there was some sort of bug attached.

Just opened the e-mail, it seems that my security spotted it. 'This e-mail is reported as unsafe.' So I have deleted it.
I get a lot too, if its a genuine company they will write to you.
