I think it may be your blood circulation OR a weakness to Chlorine in the water. Best ask your Pharmacist, he/she will tell you straight away :o)
My arms and legs itch terribly after going to one particular pool, a small baby pool, but another larger pool I use doesn't affect me at all. Very unlikely to be circulation - it's something in the water. (May not be chlorine either - what else am I swimming in, in a baby pool?!) Loads of moisturiser helps.
PS It's also important not to have the shower too hot - I love really hot showers, but am always careful after I've been swimming.
Hey, someone else that suffers with this! I thought it was just me. But I get it after any shower, not just at a swimming pool, so it can't be the chlorine. I've found the only solution is to stick to having baths.
chlorine is very drying. Makes me itch too... sympathies...
