I would like to give a lecture about Helen of Troy and the Trojan War but I need a few slides, illustrations.. a map of the eastern Mediterranean, Greece showing Sparta and Mycenae, Troy, Gallipoli and the Hellespont. Any ideas?

You could try the Internet. I think it's still open at this time.
Michael Wood did a series on TV about the Trojan War, there is a book about the TV series as well, you could try and see it there is a dvd or video available.
Zac, are you sure about that? Is it really still open at this time?

I don't know how well that sort of thing blows up to slide size, though. You might be better checking out a historical atlas at your library.

If you can get to a major public Library or the Bodleian, get hold of the 11th edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. It has immensely long and detailed articles on ancient history, many of which have never been beaten for their scholarship, even though that was the 1910 edition. ( the last edition which was actually British)
