I am having problems with the cursor on my computer; it will be working fine for a while and then just freeze and will not move. I have to switch off at the mains and wait a while then it will start again. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Many thanks for your reply. I use a mouse and I think the connection is usb lead, b u t I am ignorant as to the workings of computers. Desktop.
I get this problem sometimes, so what I do is press CTL/ALT/DEL and after a short while a screen comes up giving me several choices as to what to do. I press cancel, and it returns to my original screen with the cursor moving OK
