Thank you.
Cloverjo....Are you not thinking of fumble rather than rumble ?
There again there is also tumble which could enter the equation.
That's a tremble. ;)
Svejk....Thought tremble involved the standing position (:
SirOracle, I think a fumble is a clumsy grope, whereas a rumble is the act itself, as far as I know.
Cleverjo.....Not being an expert on this subject I will bow to your superior knowledge.(:
Maybe, I'm no (s)expert

I'm peeing myself laughing.I love you lot!xx
Ok svejk....whilst on the subject of six letter words ending in umble, where do you think bumble fits in ??
I don't know, SirO. I've just woke up. It doesn't seem like yesterday we were laughing at my Dad for falling asleep in his chair. I do it every flipping day now.
I just wondered svejk ,if bumble had any gay undertones (: .
One of the obsolete meanings of rumble dating back to the 16th century was, according to The Oxford English Dictionary, (quote), "to toss about in bed or on the ground."
Perhaps someone has decided to resuscitate it, in order to mean precisely that but in a sexual sense rather than a restlessness one!
I've never heard Rumble used in that context - apart from Rumble of Thunder, and tummy rumble, I've only ever heard sort of gangland context as in Fight - "rumble in the jungle", "ready to rumble" etc.
Rumble is to fight mohhamed ali say's rumble in the jungle
