It is an on-demand connector (worth £21.95) which connects to my broadband router. Has anyone used one of these?

No but we've been offered one too which is good as I was thinking of buying one. They let you connect to BBc iPlayer and stuff.
Waiting for mine to be delivered.
We've got one, plug it into your sky box then it'll let you connect to your router, it's great, loads of on demand and catch up TV.
We have one on order as well - not too sure if I will actually use it as I watch anything I may have missed online via Iplayer and other means

Oh I might just send off for it then, not technically adept I hope I can plug it in to the right connections. Thanks all. x
It works well - but beware, it burns through loads of gigabytes of download if you watch it for too long.

Make sure you are on an unlimited package.
It's easy AYG, practically sorts itself out, you just need to put wifi password in, then Bob's your uncle, you're up and running ;)
Yes, Dave's correct, get yourself on an unlimited package as you could be downloading programmes and films left right and centre.
If your router and TV are in the same room, you don't need one, my sky box is directly connected to my BT hub

Signed up for one. There is a three month waiting list!!

I have a 40gb monthly package, but only averaging about 4gbs per month I think I'm over subscribing to BT really. Thanks for bringing that up Dave I didn't realise it would use them up so quickly. My router is in another room woofgang
40Gb is quite a lot - you just need to keep an eye on your usage for a while.

I seem to remember that BT only give you a warning the first month you go over (rather than charging you extra) - then you can negotiate for an unlimited package if you need it.

Thanks dave, I have three months to wait for this. x
Mrs Zacs has just been on Sky to order. It says 'we will be in touch within 3 months to let you know about your order, IF we are able to supply one due to high demand' ( or words to that effect). I predict a riot.
I've been waiting 7 weeks now for mine! No word of a long wait when I applied for it - they said 28days!!
