Hello All. I want to print on to an a4 size peice of pvc @ 0,65mm thick on both sides. and it must be able to resist weathering.

The problem is that when I have been shopping for quotes there seems to be a lot of option IE. Vynal. sovent ink. powderd ink and I think there are some others.

The volumes I require are low and if the banner is successfull I am considering buying a printer.

I cannot see why vynal would trump digital printing because of the small size.

Any help, pointers, advise or general education will be greatfully recieved.

Thanks

Have you considered getting a cheap laminater instead Jbird?
Solvent ink works best on vinyl, in theory you could do it at home through a standard inkjet, however the printer may not match up to the dpi of your PSD design. Where have you been shopping for quotes?
Bear in mind that Laser Printers run hot, you wouldn't want to melt it inside the printer.
