In Tuesday's Channel 4 episode of Shameless there was an actor who was in Brookside for ages but it's really annoying me because I can't remember the name of the character he used to play. He was one of the Maguires in Shameless and he was going after Carl. His hair was a lot longer and he had a beard in Shameless. Can anyone shed any light on this???

I can't recall anyone from brookside but I think the one you mean was in emmerdale, he played roy glover. Is that the one you mean, I suppose he could have been in brookside, but I don't remember him.
Yer in emmerdale he was with Kelly Windsor
The actress who plays The mother of the Maguires was in Brookside years ago, can't remember her name, "Mo" rings a bell.
Yes she was indeed MO and she was somebody's sister - I think she may have had a thing with Sinbad at some point too!!
I used to watch brookside, and the only one I recognise (aside from Mo) is the woman involved with the guy with turets. I can't remember her character name at the moment, but ther actress name is something like Gillian Kearney, and she used to play Debbie, Damon's girlfriend when he got killed.
Mo was Rosie Banks sister in Brookie, think her hubby helped find the body in their garden? ,don't watch Shameless but my other half does and has got it on TIVO to watch .Will watch it and find out who he is :)
Just watched it .. It was Nicky Evans but i don't remember him in Brookie :)
