This is going to seem very bizarre but......my 90yrs mother (who has not got dementia!) has been talking for months now about her parents bank account and how it was never closed when they died - she seems to think there is money in it! They have been dead over 50yrs now and my Mothers brother, who has also passed away, would of been the one who sorted the finances out.

Does anyone think it is worthwhile me contacting them (Barclays Bank) or am I going to look completely stupid!

Thanks

I traced an old account from before I was married (40 yrs ago) and received the grand sum of £15.24. I was quite surprised as I thought I was overdrawn on that account.
