My sink is blocked...
I tried a plunger, it didn't do anything....
I don't think I should use soda because I suspect the sink is in aluminium ...

any suggestions?
How do I find out whether my sink is aluminium or stainless steel ?

I don't know if you have any basic DIY skills but you could try undoing the U-bend but make sure you have something beneath to catch the waste.

Simpler, but it mighr be just as effective, is to get a good 'sink unblocker' (like Mr Muscle) and leave it to work its mgic overnight.

I've never heard of an aluminium sink but this would not effect the drains anyway. Try cleaning out the U bend.
I've never heard of an aluminium sink either. Does a magnet stick to it?
If it is good quality stainless steel (S/S) then it will not be magnetic anyway, You should be able to see what it is if you take a normal S/S knife or fork and compare it to the sink you will soon see if it is the same material.
I also have never seen a aluminium sink.
