Where in the Koran does it say that you are to kill people? Isn't that the extremists interpret defence of themselves and of the religion in peculiarly extreme way?
The man concerned has been arrested, sectioned and admitted to a mental hospital , he is said to be too unstable to even be interviewed.
Fred, it's all there - and it's the unquestionable word of Allah.
I have not read the Koran, but I have been told that most of it is a crib of the Tanakh and Holy Bible.

Smite be that they all support the same intolerant God.

How very convenient, that could stop all sort of 'embarrassing' matters coming to the surface.
What sort of matters do you mean?
Yes,AOG, what scenario have you in mind that anybody would wish to hide ? And why ?
Come on AOG, spill the beans. Is there something you know that the rest of us don't?
AOG, just to help you in finding such a scenario: the man is under continual assessment by medics who will alert detectives as soon as he is deemed well enough to undergo questioning.

Chief Inspector Murray said "We don't understand the motivation of the individual. He was not known to people inside the mosque but was welcomed inside warmly shortly before the attack. There is no information at this stage to suggest it was a hate crime".

A witness said "It turned violent quite quickly. Some people tried to get the man to calm down and asked him to leave. But next thing the three men had been stabbed and everybody just panicked"

[All from The Times, 17th of June]

Please enlighten us. What do you think may be the reason and what do you think may have happened?
Oh no. Reading the above... the EDL were recently welcomed into a mosque in Yorkshire for tea and biscuits....don't say that this man, believed insane , and reportedly Somali, was an EDL member! You are not suggesting that are you?

Oh, what a relief "Another witness said the suspect who had attended the mosque occasionally, had a heated argument with other worshippers before the violence" [The Times] Well that seems the end of that speculation unless you think there's something to it AOG ;)
^remember the EDL were" ^ [word 'remember' omitted, supra]
Sorry it's so long after the event but I have been away on holiday.
aog, the man is suffering from a severe mental illness it has been widely reported. It is not a race crime or a hate crime , if he had been sane he would have been arrested and charged . I do not see where you are coming from on this one.
