Just tried this for the first time as an experiment. It was all I had in the fridge/cupboard and it turned out good. What shall I call it?

1. Chop large savoy cabbage and blanch. Set aside.
2. Fry 500g pork mince & 500 g beef mince with salt/pepper/parsley and set aside (and/or any other seasonings you like).
3. Fry one large onion until translusent, add mince back to pan.
4. In a bowl/jug, mix a tin of chopped tomatoes together with beef stock and a tablespoon of soy sauce (and/or anything else you like to add).
5. When mince/onions are cooked, place the cabbage and mince mixture in layers into a large casserole dish.
6. Pour the tomatos/stock over, cover and cook in the oven at 190 degrees c for 45 mins.
7. Remove the cover from the casserole dish, sprinkle the food with grated cheese and return to the oven on a high temperature for 10 mins to brown.

cabbage and mince layered pie?
There's something similar to that in Sainsbury cookbook called Marvellous meals with mince by Josceline Dimbleby

Wow, really? I should concoct recipies and sell them lol. I do love experimenting though, but usually with more choice of ingredients than I had then, so I was quite pleased when this one turned out good. It is nicer than it sounds, honest.

Thanks both for your input.
