Has anyone bought one of those TV/DVD/Video signal transmitters (Argos page 711) and if so which & do they work. We've just got Sky & don't want to cough up to get it put on other telly's in the house? Don't want to buy in case they're bad.

I got mine from Maplins (Electrical store, not fictional Holiday Camp) and it works fine. One slight snag, it picks up the radiation from the microwave. As I have the receiving station in the kitchen that's a bit of a nuisance. You can select different channels for the radio link and by choosing the right frequency and clever positioning this problem can be reduced. They are a good idea and simple to set up.
I got mine from Argos, and toook it back a few days later due to the interference from the Microwave and my wireless network which drove me up the wall. When it worked it worked, but as with all new technology, it needs vast improvement before it becomes worth the ��
