which mobile phone should I get next?

I've had several nokia phones over the past 10 years and am ready to change from my n96 which I've been using for over a year. Can anyone recommend an alternative to the iphone which I'm considering but have heard good and bad things about.

I like a decent camera, browse the internet, listen to music, use it for a diary, obviously alongside making calls.

Any ideas.

The only bad thing I have to say about the iPhone is the battery life. Other than that it really is the best phone I've ever used, and using almost anything else now feels like using a brick from the past.

What about waiting for the new IPhone? I have a 3GS and it is fantastic but as the previous poster said the battery life is rubbish. Maybe this will be rectified in the new one. I think the rumour has it that it will be announced in June.
