Bgt Egg Throwing

Just been told that some idiot threw eggs at Simon on bgt last night, what was that all about? I missed it as was out.

If they were mimning - as suggested - then that in itself is wrong, but the fact that neither of them batted an eyelid in the face of what was obviously bizarre and disturbing behaviour suggests they were aware of it in advance.

I can see how they'd carry on regardless despite not expecting it.

If it was a stunt which they were in on and expecting, the obvious thing to do would be for them to do some kind of hammy 'oh my god what's going on reaction' rather than ignore it.

I think the suggestion that they or Simon Cowell were in on the egg throwing is rather more bizarre than the throwing itself.
