Blimey that's a big baby, how do they fit inside the egg !.

I wondered that when it hatched, it must be very tight in there just before hatching!

Makes you think that it must have burst out and not just hatched.

She is indeed - if this one survives, it will be fledgling #50. The wardens say the baby is strong and feeding well.

A lovely shot just now of Mum being very careful where she puts her huge feet, so as not to trample on Baby!

Saw him/her earlier, looking great and isn't she just amazing (Mum, I mean)

And three chicks at rutland, flat out in the sunshine - they're growing like weeds too
