Staff Training?

Has anyone else had to wait almost three weeks for a docs appointment for them to then phone and cancel it for staff training? Staff training in normal doctors hours...is that usual in general practice? I cannot believe that's the second time it has happened along with their getting scripts wrong which could have been disastrous. Anyone else subjected to this or worse from their doctors?

Gosh didn't realise but why do ours make the damned appointments IF they know it will take place... The mind(what is left of it) boggles lol. Thanks guys for your input.
