I cooked a big chicken with a piece of pork for yesterday's lunch, I've stripped down the chicken and mixed it with gammon ham chunks, sauteed mixed mushrooms and onion and a creamy cheesy sauce. It's made good looking pie, even though I say it myelf, and I shall do buttery new potatoes and asparagus the brood have just come home with from the PYO Farm

Carbonara al Forno......basically a tagliatelle carbonara but then finished by baking in the Aga....some roast toms with it, me thinks.

Hubby going to friends for offal fest, so my daughter and me had scrambled duck eggs with smoked salmon and a bag of baby leaf salad, a few cherry tomatoes, scallions and cucumber lemon pesto dressing and a small ciabatta roll each. Then we both had a M&S Mousse, me lemon, daughter chocolate

Baked beans on toast and some cream of celery soup which I just made. No eggs on top of the beans though:)
