I've just used a spray can of paint on a bedroom wall and I feel as sick as a dog.
I opened the window and stood well back, but my head is banging and I feel spaced out and sick.
Is this what sniffing glue is like? :-/

The spray paint is always supposed to be used in a well ventilated area, did it not say so on the tin?
Yep! don't know about the sniffing glue but your head would be banging

It's a tin of 'Stain Block' I just bought from B&Q. I opened the window and just started spraying. I didn't read the tin, but there's not much else I could do to ventilate the room.

Urgh, I feel sick... :-(

Lol Desky :)
I don't think I'm going to be sick, just feel sick.

I'm laying down on a dust sheet now. The room is slowly spinning...

go outside and breathe in some fresh air and get away from the paint.
A dust sheet? Times can't be that hard MM!
Yes Mads, that's the solvent. Same as sniffing glue. It'll soon pass.
What happened to the undercoat from the shed? :o)
Question Author
I've dragged myself to the window, I'm alright.

EB, lol. I'm completely covered in paint... :(

I couldn't get into the shed. Finally found the right key, but it appears the lock has rusted over :-(
Reminds me of my teenage years...it's pretty much like that, but I was never sick, just spaced.

Jude, don't think I'd make much of a glue sniffer then. I felt as sick as a dog. Obviously not as hardcore as you... :)) lol

Fender, haha. I have this wonderful image in my head of bright, shiny, woodchip walls :-) I couldn't think of anything worse!

Unfortunately I had to give the wall a second coat of spray today. Held my breath this time.
If you had a bad reaction to the spray paint you wouldn't be posting here so coherently.

Lol. I wasn't dying!

Next time MM get a length of garden hose out of the window & stick in your cakehole whilst yome spraying.

Haha Apologies to Desky, but that answer deserves to be the 'best' :)

I had to use the same spray again yesterday. It's so strong!
