A million years ago, when I was little, I had a book where the story was set in a quilt-land. The whole landscape was made up of patchwork and quilts and pillows, and everyone had to bounce around because the quilt-land was not flat enough to walk on. When you wanted to go to sleep, you slid down between the patchwork squares into a cosy little hole. I'd love to read this to my grandson for a bedtime story - if only I could identify it.
Anyone know it ?

If you don't get an answer here, go to abebooks and post on their booksleuth forum, they are very good there. It sounds like a wonderful story...
