Does anyone else feel, like I do, that the new magazine Event is more of a non-event?

Its awful, I found NOTHING in there to interest me! I bet the price will go up in a couple of weeks, you see!
The only thing it's got going for it is the TV section is slightly better than it was in LIVE Magazine, which it replaced. What's worse, is Piers Morgan is still in there.
I love Piers in the MoS, he's so pompous it's excellent.
With all the advertising about it thought it was going to be something special, no different, TV listings, adverts, what happened to Ian Hylands TV review it was good. Saturday's supplement much better.
It's a case of 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' Live was really good Event is rubbish. I used to like James Martin and the Chris Evans column...Shame..
I thought it was a load of rubbish, rather have the Live magazine and the Review section. The Mail is going downhill, with the you magazine and Lancelot crosswords not being accepted by post anymore.
Cant say we were too impressed. We also used to like Ian Hyland's TV critic but seems he has gone to the Daily Mirror and no way are we buying that rag....
I used to enjoy Hyland's column as well...........
I must admit the only thing I like is that the book review is better than it used to be - more info instead of just a list. But apart from that it is rubbish.
Yes I agree. the Event magazine is dumb downed rubbish. Bring back the Live magazine.
I agree. The Event magazine is full of dumbdowned rubbish. Not a patch on the Live predecessor
Miss Chris Evans' diary..
