I would say yes it's possible if your Corsa has an AUX Input / USB Connection point in the centre console of the car.
Consult your Users Manual Guide for more info on the "Infotainment" system.
The Vauxhall website allows you to download manuals.

but does anyone know what connections i need? Because i bought an aux cable that is connected from aux in centre to headphone bit on i-pod but it doesnt work.
Just noticed your post again.
Obviously you've tried pressing the AUX or USB button on your actual car stereo when your iPod is connected and playing music.
Failing that, sorry I can't really help much.

Also worth mentioning that the majority of car stereos that can play MP3 tracks actually prefer the music files to be MP3 files and not Apple's AAC format.
