Celebrity prices?

Apparently Oil of Olay now contains Pepta Pepcides which i'm sure are wonderful.
However i may expect to pay 'celebrity prices' for them.
Can anyone explain to me what exactly 'celebrity prices' are and how they differ from other types of prices?
If i go in to a shop and ask to pay 'celebrity prices' for something will i get better treatment and will it cost me any more or less?
You must forgive my ignorance but you must realise that us non - celebrities find this sort of thing difficult to understand.

Tch, gary, if you actually bothered to check the financial pages of any newspaper, you will see the �Sterling / Celebrity price exchange rates clearly published there.

Just flicking through the Financial Times here, I can see that on the Alternative Money Market (Z-Listing), the Pound is trading at 15 Jades and 63 Chantelles.
