DTC's tips for the Grand National this afternoon

I like the chances for 'Lunch Hour'- 12 to 1 apparently

Then there is 'Bisexual Boy' - Well worth an each way bet.

'Foundation' - Put your house on it.

Or one could put a bet on V-Neck; it's a great jumper

My favourite though: and my Top Tip for the Grand National, its a horse called "Premature Ejaculation" apparently it always comes first.

"Dust Carpet",never been beaten.

"Dusty Carpet".!!
Paddy Power is paying out on the first5 in the National, BM
Thank you Psybbo. Stupid question follows. what does 15/2 mean?

I'm a bit p'd off that my horse is the favourite. Mr BM says if you put 15 quid on you'll get your stake back plus 2. But how does that work with say 7/1 - which I understood to mean if you put a quid on you get 7 quid back.

This is not logical at all. (You can tell I don't do this sort of thing, can't you?!)
7.5 to 1 BM
Mr BM is right, but please do it each way as a place will pay a quarter of the odds
Ha, thought so, Psybbo. I thought it meant that. HE wouldn't have it though. Thank you.
balls. I hate it when he is right.
Sorry, read that wrong. If you put £2 e/w on a 15/2 and it wins you will get £17 back for the win (£15 + £2 stake) and place money of 15/8 *2 + your stake back
Which would be £5.75 for the place (3.75 + stake 2)
lol, thank you for trying, but now I am lost

(this is a bit embarrassing seeing as I work out IHT for a living).
Oh my, this is a little confusing.
Take your time and you'll get there, although your logical mind is probably telling you it's madness to back any horse in the National!
We agreed a max of £20. He had £10 and I had £10. We shall see.
What did you do? And good luck
I did Seabass and Cappa Bleu, he did On his Own and the fekkin winner.
