it matters a great deal whether any wax has been put on it, in which case you need to avoid contact with water for more than a very short time - use a sponge mop that is squeezed to the point of not dripping, best of all go over the floor with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth afterwards, such as a towel. As for detergents, use something fairly mild but make sure you wash sufficiently frequently to avoid build up of dirt. Vacuum regularly to avoid grit being rubbed in and/or scratching - best of all do not wear outdoor footwear indoors (ever).
Remember .. water-based products swell and bring up the grain, so the floor will deteriorate quickly if not sealed.
Spirit or wax seal it, so you can wash over more frequently.
Will also help to minimise wood staining.
ours is pressure waxed, not varnished and the suppliers recommend this stuff.

It does a good job and the floor looks fine.
We have two big dogs and a muddy garden and the grain has got some dirt in it but apart from that it immaculate
