HI I went for my INR test today and last week it was 1.7 1 week after 4mg and then today it was 2.4 the second week on 4mg, going back next week for another check and if it is in range they will reduce it to fortnightly. I am really pleased I have no problems with it they reckon I will be on 4mg every day as my stabilising dose, target INR for AF is 2.5 so I am nearly there. Fingers crossed it will stay around the same next week.

an INR of 2.4 is plenty close enough gordie :) Does not need to be bang on.

My old man, with a similar INR target, needed 9mg daily.....

My INR is usually 2.8 and only need blood tested monthly. Warfarin dose is...6.86!
