Generally the cold pressure would be around 1.5 bar rising to 2 bar when hot.The fluctuations you describe may need investigation depending on the boiler.Contact the installer.
my boiler is 1.5 cold when running hot water it can go up to 9.0+,no problems
Sounds like the pressure valve/regulator, lutkie.
You do need to get someone in.
deggers..we are talking about the pressure within the domestic central heating system .If yours was running at 9 bar the prv's would be quite audible....
Usually the boiler has a gauge showing the pressure and is coloured low1 red green middle and high 3 red if the needle goes significantly into the high red you don’t have to worry too much because the relief valve will release any over pressure.
I had the same problem and I called the engineer out and that’s what he told me.
