hi alba, ive been on that and similar sites for ages now and cant seem to find a solution..everything takes me to a page to download some sort of manual finder but i darent download what im not sure of..thanks though x
Hi pdust - I have been using microwaves from 1984 - and I never defrost - just put in as normal for (it depends what are you defrosting) minutes and when it begins say meat if there is a little blood coming out take it out and turn round - it willl still be a bit frozen inside but it will be okay. Then leave it for a while - I couldnt be arsed with defrost. Now if it was a bit lump of meat obviously that would be defrosted the night before -
Conne, I've done that too.
I've put in on lowest setting and blasted for a minute, then rotated the thing and another minute (or seconds depending upon what I'm defrosting)

Pixie, according to the blurb, there's some sort of automatic weighing for the m/wave. Is your turntable on properly?
(Silly question)

hi conne, lol thats what ive done in end... ive never used defrost on any microwave before but just once, today thought i would give it a go...

not silly question alba, but theres a auto weigh button and another for defrost.... neither work and my turntable is fine.... i seem to be missing an ^ and v button cos i cant even set clock.. i click to set and it flashes but none of hte buttons alter it from 00.00 lol

i did find this on my google travels... http://www.uglybloke.co.uk/userguides.html?oo=465&askid=dfed3bef-8cfb-4b7d-b24c-d50d4d4cd075-0-uk_gsb

and wondered if the email belonged to one of the news residents here on ab lol
I don't have that model but on mine:
def 1 meat
def 2 poultry
def 3 fish
def 4 bread.
You then have to put in the weight in kilograms before start (using up down buttons). Maybe that's the bit you're missing out?
Question Author
hi prudie..that seems to be the problem...theres no up and down buttons :s but thanks x
