thinking of getting one for o/h ,netbook notebook,whats the diff.they all seem to be about £190i'sh.we dont do any downloading ,just browsing&googling.also they have windows starter kit,do i need to buy home premium 7,if we have it on desktop.

You won't need to buy Premium 7.

Ensure it has a decent amount of RAM, 2GB should really be the minimum.

I am not too tech minded,but I am very pleased with my samsung,apart from it only having 1 Gb memory.I got it very cheaply,about £150 from a place called Misco.Have a look at their site and see what they have.
