neither. I (and most of us) would have been the downtrodden peasantry with no choice.
Neither - I'd support a coalition ! ! ! ! ! !
when i have a drink, i am a roundhead, round and round, when really gone i am very cavalier..

You definitely have a feather in your hat em. :)
i know, but don't drink much these days, too much trouble to find my way out of the pub.
Cavalier - since Roundheads turned out to be the same thing in the end, except more boring.
Out of interest, are we supposing a new Ollie against a Charles I-type or against our current Queen?
The next Charles 111 is already a lot like Charles 1, meddling in parliamentary matters.
I'd not put up with a bloke telling me what to do and so I'd not take any notice of either

Jim, it would be ollie v liz.
Think the present government quite often seem to be Roundhead.
Don't do this, don't do that. This is bad for you. We are going to ban.....
if Ollie v Liz, then Liz. If Ollie v. Charles III as will be, I'd still take him, his interference is nothing like as bad as CI's was. Cromwell was a dictator just as much as, if not more than, Charles I was. The present monarchs no longer have power, and are there to conduct state business, which they do very well. Hence put me down in the cavalier box please!
I don't do velvet, so Cavalier is out, but I don't do armour either, so not Roundhead..... I guess I'll emigrate
Well, I'm generally royalist but in it's current form, ie the non despotic form so I'd probably be a Roundhead!
I'll hold the coats.
Which side pays best?
