Kenneth Williams actually was gay, but as you say he thought the sexual act was revolting, so after trying it a couple of times (with men) he gave up! He adored his mother. (He lived near me in the 70's)

well the daughter of one of his regular co stars in the 60s told me her dad was confident that Cliff held gay parties on a yacht when they were filming 'Summer Holiday' in the Med.

I had real difficulty sleeping, last night. I was up and about pacing the floors, whilst suffering with higher than usual anxiety levels. This may, or may not, have been due to my unanswered query on Cliff Richard's love life. I doubt I'll ever know the answer to that...

With today's development, and latest information kindly supplied by Zeuhl, I feel tonight I will be able to sleep more soundly, safe in the knowledge that I am one step closer to understanding the mystery that is Sir Cliff Richard...
