Really proud of her as she has done so well and is a lovely person. OMG just rambling now - has anyone else felt like this when their youngest reaches 21!!??
ditto to sqad and ummmm. I think I did a little jig when she got married and felt quite sorry for my son-in-law. He didn't know what he had let himself in for. However they are still together after 30 years so he must know how to handle her, or the other way around.
I always feel emotional when its my sons birthday. Hes 33 in May and each birthday I can still recall how he looked and how me and OH felt when he was born, still seems like yesterday. Time goes so quickly but I dont feel a day older in my thoughts and emotions
You have obviously done a good job, I had a moment about my boy (just about to turn 4!) last night as i checked on him in bed and thought, crikey school this year!
Then I had this thought that I would remember this moment when he was a strapping lad of 20 or something. They are always are babies no matter how old :-). xxx
I was the same in December when my son turned 21 [youngest is 16 in April]. Its a strange moment isn't it? Though sometimes I wonder how I actually managed it...they have both survived lol
Congratulation to you on raising a person to be proud of.. I know I am of mine :0)
