Just purchased a contract with O2 and have a Sony Xperia J handset. However,i cant get the FM Radio to work. i have plugged my own headphones in to the phone and selected the FM Radio, but i cannot recieve any sound or stations. All i am hearing is the fuzzy, buzzing sound as though no stations are tuned in.
Could the problem be that i dont have any Sony headphones?. I thought that i could use any ordinary headphones that act as an FM Areial?
Any help please

Yes, you probably need Sony headphones. I experienced this problem a few years back myself and getting hold of Sony headphones solved the problem. Try and borrow a set from a mate if you want to be certain.

The other thing you could try is to alter your location. Try going outside your home or office to see if reception improves.
My skull candy earphones worked on my old Xperia Arc. I haven't used the radio on my new one. What's the J? I've got the "James Bond" phone but I think it's the T? =s
