I have purchased a sound bar with DVD,it is secondhand and has no instructions or remote hand set.I dont need the hand set as it has touch controls.Questions are: what are the best connections to use to get the DVD signal to the TV and the sound from the TV to the sound bar.Has anyone out there got a manual,I have tried all the usual Web sites. The unit has video s sockets, digital optical and the usual phono type connectors, also was it originally supplied with a remote hand set?
Thanks for anticipated help

hdmi socket is the standard for H/D other wise you'll only get the standard pic if you use the video "s" socket and if using video "s" you will have to use either optical or phone for audio
if you dont have an optical cable no worries use phono you'll not notice any difference really
