Friday - chilly outside and a bit of drizzle but at least the wind has abated. 2nd weekend of the 6 Nations this weekend and i'm looking forward to seeing Sundays clash between Ireland and England in Dublin - there'll be plenty of the black stuff flowing - but why they'll be laying tarmac on a Sunday, I don't know!!

I do enjoy the occasional Guinness or pint, though it tends to be the Sunday pre-lunch drink at the pub, alba.

As long as I am not a dipstick as I was yesterday. Was in sorting out this banking issue and thought I had my passport in my pc sack for a second piece of identity to open new accounts. It wasn't there, sense of panic......

Checked here, no luck, call all around my haunts and a few other places that I had been since last week, the problem compounded in that my American green card is was inside....no issue with the bank as I had my two driving licences. Called the police eventually...

Then found it tucked right down the side of the armchair last night....don't know what it was to get me looking there ......however safe and sound and the police file closed.

What a prat!

anyhoo, exciting day today, moving the barge this afternoon ready to set off tomorrow to a yard for a basic interior fit out over the next month. Ten years in the making - what could possibly go wrong?? }:-l??

Morning all, blooming cold here in Hampton, heavy frost last night, was out @ 0700 with dogs, not nice at all.
Well this week, the weekend starts here, just a pilgrimage to Waitrose to be completed and we're done.
