If the couple at the top of leader board (from the judges vote) recieved 8 points [8 couples left]--second highest got 7 and so on down to the bottom couple getting 1 point:- - - then the public voters come along and have a completely different opinion,i.e. whoever was at the top by the judges came bottom with the public ;and this difference was repeated along the list for the 8 couples------wouldn't every couple have a combined score of 9????. Am I missing something

I believe - but can't confirm - if two contestants have the same number of points after the viewers vote is added then the public vote counts more than the judges. So in your scenario where judges decision all results was reversed by the public vote then voters win!

Philip calls out the names in as he says "in no particular order" so no one knows what points anyone gets, just the 2 with the lowest goes on to the skate off (I think that's how it's done anyway)

Any ideas anyone??
The judging has always baffled me kenny, so would be interesting to see how it works.

(Does anybody know who was voted out on Sunday?).
Shane - skate off between Matt and Shane
O not Shane, I liked him. That's disappointing. Thanks atsagran.
Matt stumbled in the skate off but his original skate was fantastic so 3 of the judges voted for him and Jason voted for Shane
That doesn't seem fair, when Pamela Anderson stumbled in her skate off it was why they got rid of her. Glad I didn't see it now, I'd have been fuming (lol).

Hello Atsgran,
Although Philip calls out "in no particular order", it's a known fact that 8 points down to 1 are allocated. The question I was making was that if the public vote was on a similar scale you would end up with all the couples on the same score (if the favouritism was reversed) ---still waiting for an explanation!!!
What is it that you need explaining Kenny?

Many thanks Puternut---if what you say is correct, that would explain it.
By the way Shoota, what I was getting at was this:-- Contestants A received 8 points from the judges due to being top in the studio, but the public gave them the fewest votes from the phone in (1 point). Total 9 points. Contestants B were second in the studio(7 points) but came next to the bottom from the phone in (2 points) Total 9 points. And so on and so on-----Every couple would receive 9 points from the combined scores---can't make it any clearer.
You have made it clear - that was why I was asking what you needed explaining.
