Renault Scenic

I have a renault scenic and in the past week every time I start the car I get a message saying 'check auto door locking'. I presume this is the same as 'child locks, but I cannot find anything in the manual to say how to release the locks. It is annoying that when I drop my children off at school or other activities, I have to get out of the car to open the door for them. I have looked on the doors but cannot find a release lock. Any help would be appreciated. Thank-you

As you open the door, directly below & under the the sloop of the door, there you should see the little lever, push it in the op direction on the door that will not open from the inside.

Thanks to 'mazie', 'Hopkirk' and 'TWR' for your responses. I should now be able to solve the problem once I can get to the car dug out of the snow!!!
