Is it possible to charge a Kindle Fire with a standard Kindle charger?

Yep, basically if it fits in the slot on the Kindle fire it'll charge it.

I'm currently charging my own Kindle Fire from my phone charger :-)

Yeah, I got mine for Christmas :-)

I tend to use more as a tablet though, I still use my older Kindle as my reading gadget.

The games and apps you can get on it are great, keeps you quiet for hours, which is probably why Mr Boo bought it for me in the first place, lol.

Amazon recommend the fast charger which costs about £20 but there is a slower charger costing less than a fiver which works fine with Kindle Fire.
