British Summer Time changes in the early hours of Easter Sunday, 31st March, that's good because who'll notice the missing hour , Easter Sunday is just 1 of 2 days in the year when most places are shut. I'm filling in my new diary, doesn't it take ages? It's worse than having to write Christmas cards.

Can't wait for the lovely light evenings......
I don't fill anything in my new diary - I got my 2013 diary way back in August, so I could start making work appointments for this year already. We have a separate permanent birthday book so we don't have to put them in our diaries. The calendar in the kitchen has both of our appointments etc on it, and when things are due.

31st March is going to be interesting - that's the day we're due to be made redundant, but the last working day is Thursday 28th March.
aren't places shut on Good Friday more than on the Sunday?

Nope, it's the Law

Rules for large shops in England and Wales

Shops over 280 square metres:

can open on Sundays but only for 6 consecutive hours between 10am and 6pm
must close on Easter Sunday
must close on Christmas Day

Aw that's sad for you Boxy - what is your job?
oh, I didn't know that. I suppose I don't go to many big shops. Sorry to hear that too, boxtops. Is it because we're all in this together?
I have a desk diary A4 size, from 1990 that I'm still using, the way people keep changing their phone numbers and addresses one of those smaller diaries are useless for me!
